Local Buffer Setup

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have a local filesystem directory with:

• Read and write permissions.
• Sufficient disk space to store the data.

Setup

Specify the local directory path in Supermetal Console while creating the connector, if the directory does not exist Supermetal will create it.

If running on a cloud environment, ensure that the filesystem directory is backed by persistent storage (e.g., EBS, GCP Persistent Disk, Azure Disk) to avoid data loss.
